Fafnir provides bulk storage measurement solution

Fafnir has announced the launching of their new solution to measure and control accurately and economically the content of large tanks and vessels.

VISY-Stick Flex is the latest integration into the VISY product family. It will enable customers to combine traditional horizontal tanks with a mixture of large vertical tanks using the same system and reliable and cost effective magnetostrictive technology. The flexible level sensor VISY-Stick Flex is a cost effective and accurate solution to measure and control large fuel and oil storage tanks.

Due to its stainless steel corrugated tube the VISY-Stick Flex can be compactly packaged and transported and installations can be handled fast and easily. The unit can also be operated wirelessly should cabling be a problem. Adding our VISY-RFT will allow transmission of data up to 2.000 meters (line of sight).

Fafnir expects that the VISY-Stick Flex will successfully replace the traditionally being used measuring technologies for bulk tanks like Radar or Guided Microwave. The rigid design, lower hardware costs, easier installation and integration into a low cost system architecture are convincing factors.
